Bodega ba system!
If you are in LA make sure you check out www.beatswapmeet.com, they are doing it large out on the states. Thats where i got the inspiration to to Bodega. On the reels we got a handful of tables left for vendors. If you don’t have alot of records to sell, get a few friends together and buy a table. There is a fee for the table space, but if you broke lmk we can work something out. Remember its a FREE event so all the fees are going to pay for the venue & expenses. Shoots. ***last Bodega i made $60 in the last 15minutes, some old dude came in and bought a fat stack of records on one swoop, chee ollie***
Guess Whos Coming to Dinner?
Just finished collecting all the tracks for Narcoleptic Symposium 3, but i decided to change the name of the compilation to Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? While i was listening to all the tracks and looking at all the artists involved i felt that i need to change it up, Narcoleptic 1 & 2 (or 1.5 Ana Love Digi) came out in the early 2000’s it was on cassette & CD and it grew legs and ended up in places like Germany, Sweden, Australia, Japan, and even Made the Amoeba in Berkley – top 100 of the year. With the landscape of Hawaii Hip-Hop different than back then it was time for a new twist. We definitely can dine with the big boys, and invited or not we coming for Dinner!
To LA…
I gots mad love for Mike G, back when i had the opportunity to put together one of the sickest skate teams he was the lone member of the team. We added Bronson Gregory, Wes Lucas, and Larry Upchurch. I believed that our team was in the right direction to make some noise. Fast forward, i peaced out and now they got that kid Bronson Sterling (super dope) and a few others. Just gotta wish Mike and Larry God speed and blessings while they peruse their dream to skateboard. They will be joining up with already transplanted Hawaiians Jordan Oliveria aka Jordy Clot & Matt Chaffin aka Smatty.
Summertime
The homies at Modernshark – Baje & Snafu just released this free album produced by Batsauce. Don’t ask me who the heck that is, but i do know its niceness, and he got Qwaazar (Typical Cats) to flex a verse, bravo! so get yo’ free music & spock www.modernshark.com tell’m Kavet sent yah!
SUMMERTIME’ is a free producer project from the homie Batsauce constructed entirely from versions of Gershwin’s classic song ‘Summertime’. The project features special guests The Perceptionists (Mr. Lif & Akrobatik), Mass Influence, Qwazaar, Baje One, Dillon, Chop, Paten Locke, Lady Daisey, and Wynton Kelly Stevenson – Baje One! (Junk Science/Modern Shark)
For the birds…B3AK!
B3AK is up! What to expect? A bunch of canvases, right, wrong. B3ak came with the flock of segulls, a murder of crows, a partridge family, and a pear tree. So many of my homies are artists and have had dope art shows, but i hope this show puts a fire up der ase and gets Hawaii going. Two things can happen we can deliver a doper & higher quality shows or just fall back. Lets choose the first choice.

Ramp Jammers.
Was asked to DJ the Ramp Jam 2 in Hawaii Kai. According to the peoples who attended the first one they said there was 2x as much people and it made a difference that a real dj was there. Here is a clip of the best trick winner, Jason Park with a fakie finger flip into the ramp. Big ups Matt Reynolds, Rob Waldron, and the good people in the skate community. Check the blog for the break down.
One a week: “Oera”
Been slippin’ on the OAW. I would love to go out and flick deez pieces but no mo’ the time. Big ups OERA & Kelly Goosecock for the photo.

Homestead & Dj Mad holding it down. Big ups to Soul Pacific, look for their track on the upcoming LS compilation.
Laels Beats, he already won a GC and wanted to enter, but since Hawaii has LA traffic he ended up doing a demo set, clean bangers!
The Pervert Crew came in full force, Nobu Eno reppin with dem beats.
Abomination One, brought his brand of beats, dark & grimy . It was great to hear different styles.
With his computer crashing a few months ago, DubWalrus came thru to take the win. It was a close one and could of gone either way.
Just so happens everyone had to go to the bathroom or put money in the meters. We had over 500 people, not. Thank you to all who came out and supported mahalo to Fumanchu for the extra support and Easy Music Center for being the center mass!
