Tour of Heros-pt2
Friday morning i woke up early to help Lofa set up the Silent Stage booth. Lofa should get paid for what he does, hint, hint, lol. I did not have a pass to get into any of the days at Comic Con, but the good old Hip-Hop saying, “Act like you know” is true to its word. I walked right in everytime…
Angry Woebots, he killed it hitting up every black book, stitch, print, pillow and body. His fans were from all spectrum of life; old, young; geek, dork, hip-hop, raver, graff head, corporate suit, you name it. Big ups to the homie doing big, i really don’t know why Hawaii artists were not there? If i could go to one Hip-hop convention a year i would, this is the equivalent…don’t sleep.
Jesse Hernandez, Palmetto – Silent Stage, & Lofa. Check out Jesse Hernandez art at www.immortalstudios.com i really dig his art, very culturally relevant to him with a modern twist.
LA Hands, www.lahands.com, was the illest. I didn’t pick me up one, but there was a huge line for those toys, esp. the Dissizit x BH.
Echto One, Ghost Buster in the house!
There were a bunch of Storm Troopers in the building. But only one with a Aloha T-shirt and a Lei, genius, he got hella photos.
I chased down Green R2D2, he was exactly like the movie, but green. I was searching for the controller but there was none in sight. Crazy.
I met Scribe – DF, in Hawaii at the Undivided event. I have been a fan forever, his crew DF with Emit, East, Cycle, Ewok & Dalek. I got him to hit up my blackbook and chopped it up, hopefully we can get him back to Hawaii. Check out http://www.scribeswalk.com/
Slick, hitting up my black book, his hands is so consistent and he never turned away a fan. He also showed us mad love the next day.
Woes & ktc, we hit up the crews favorite Italian spot. Palmetto is half Italian and he said it was legit. We had to walk into a store, then the kitchen, in order to get into the dinning area there we seen this…
They had ill ass wine jugs all up on the ceiling. I think we were too tired and hungry to care.
Little Italy, we need one in Hawaii, No fist pumping allowed doe!
One A Week – MSK/7thLetter
This production was across the Hundreds off Fairfax on Rosewood. It is always amazing to see these pieces in person.
Tour of Heros! pt.1
In 5 days i went from LA to SD and back to LA. I never thought that in a span of 5 days i would be able to meet so many Triple OG’s and Heros of mine. This tour 100% exceeded my expectations. The only thing is it started a little rough….
I was hella sick b4 the tour and i was at the tail end of a mega cough complete with the thickest mucus! So i went to In-and-Out burger for some uplifting food. NO, this is not what i ordered, one of the meals is my homie Jon who designs for Vans, sucks cuz i was still kind of out of it and barley finished my burger. After that drove to SD to get to a Monkey King party.
Joe Ledbetter, with a touch of Dave Flores colabation…
David Flores, one of the sickest artist ever and a personal favorite.
A-Woes done his up nice, and it looks sicker in person and with light. I would of taken more picture but i was spent from travelling from LA to SD…tbc.

Woes, got a plethra of releases; Panda King, Pillows, Shirts, Prints, Pins, & a grip of other thangs. If you in SD stop by and support if not you can buy all the left overs at www.silentstagegallery.com. Don’t forget to check out our blogs or FB’s. I will be in LA, working on music and visiting some old friends, and getting my hypebeast on, lol. Then driving down to Comic Con to lurk at the booth. I’m stoked because this is one time where i am at an event and i am not in charge of nothing, i can sit back and see how this subculture unfolds. Big ups Pauly, Woes, and Lofa.

TTL by Honozooloo
Aaron Yoshino aka Honozooloo, has been with LS since he returned from SF. He is the epitome of hard work and a head of the trend of photographers that some how hit Hawaii’s scene like a ugly stick. Homie is so busy i don’t see him at much LS events, which is totally understandable, he is in demand. Check out his pictorial of TTL. Blessings.
